I love the idea of having a office/desk at home and carving out a creative space just for me. After seeing all these pictures on Pinterest I’m seriously inspired and lusting after my own home office space. Hopefully at our place in Seattle I’ll be able to have a little set up of my own. Currently I blog mostly at work (shh! Just in my spare minutes here and there) and on the couch at home on my laptop. I love the simplicity of this space with a few fun frames and quotes.
I really like having just one wall painted in a room that makes a statement and doesn’t require a lot of work.
This is colorful but still small and not overwhelming.
Chalkboard walls are so cute and a nice way to write and draws things that are permanent. I also love having a bunch of pictures to inspire me and to be surrounded by some of my favorite faces.
This office with the lights hung up makes me so happy. And I also love that they have a couch for visitors.
This space is so quaint and cozy. It’s fun to see a small space getting used because not everyone has a spare bedroom to make into an office, but a small area of the wall seems very doable. And I love that pin board where you’re able to switch pictures up.
And another option to get some work done if you don’t have an office/desk space at home is to check out a co-working company like WeWork which rents out conference room or community work spaces. It’s perfect for freelancers, small businesses, and bloggers like us! They also have shared office space locations all over the US and in London, Tel Aviv, and Amsterdam. It’s nice every once in a while to step outside of our homes and coffee shops to be more productive.
